I wonder if birch slab and scrapping the living roof would work. We would need a bunch of mosquito nets to make this work in MN. I like the design, but I would keep it enclosed. I am trying to find a way to keep the bark on the birch slabwood. Anyone have any ideas?
Any cabin that uses slabwood and is designed to fit into a wooded environment is a "win-win" to me. I like the way this cabin comes apart, but as stated above, this would be problematic in certain environments. Looks like a great fit for the California climate!
