Got to Sk8 this ramp back in the day. My relatives live in Dallas, and they took me to the Jeff Phillips skateboard park.. I dropped in on the vert ramp and did a kick turn, but I never was able to do any tricks when it came to skating vert. Dallas has always had a interesting skateboard scene, and it seemed to stick around even when skateboarding was dead in the 1980's. Jeff Phillips ruled at vert and he is the one to credit for keeping the skate scene alive in Dallas and other parts of Texas.
