Brainerd police are looking for three male suspects involved in a robbery reported at 12:06 a.m. Sunday at an apartment on the 2300 block of Hillcrest Drive.
Police Chief Corky McQuiston said police were called to investigate a report of three unknown males who had entered the apartment brandishing a handgun and stole several items.
Police learned two occupants of the apartment were at home when they received a knock on the door. Upon opening the door, three males entered the apartment. One of the males displayed a handgun and the two occupants were forced to the floor while several items were stolen from the residence. The suspects took electronic devices including video games, computers, a cellphone and other items.
The three male suspects were described by police as being:
• 6-feet, 2-inches to 6-foot, 3-inches tall dark-skinned black male, medium to heavy build, about 23-24 years-old, with a stocking cap, black jacket and black pants.
• 6-feet, 1-inch tall light-skinned black male, medium build, wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweat pants.
• Possibly Hispanic or Latino male about 19-20 years old with dark hair.
The occupants were unable to give any further description of the suspects, but believe they may have left the area in a newer silver or white colored four-door sedan.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Brainerd Police Department at 829-2805.
The Baxter Police Department assisted with this investigation.
