Hauling “live loads” is not easy, but I am learning about it first-hand, these days. First off, I should probably apologize to all the Livestock Relocation Specialists (bull haulers) out there that I have told, over the years, that my money has never smelled like that. It’s funny sometimes the roads that life takes us down – my life now has me back on the road and hauling bulls. I teasingly say, that with all the BS that I have put up with over my years on the road, I might be over-qualified for the job, but here I am. There are so many different types of trucking out there, I thought it might be fun (and interesting) to write about some of them every so often. So, this month, I am focusing on the bull haulers.

Amazon Prime New Releases October 2015

Amazon has revealed what new TV shows and movies will arrive to Prime Instant Video in October. The list is extensives and includes many of your favorite fall shows as well as hit-movies and content for the kids.

Amazon brings more than 50 new titles to the streaming service like the highly anticipated Amazon Original series "Red Oaks," "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt. 1." For the little ones Prime Members will see season nine of "Curious George" and the ever popular "March of the Penguins."

And just in time for Halloween, Amazon brings in new seasons of your favorite spooky shows, including Fox's "Sleepy Hollow," CW’s "The Vampire Diaries," AMC’s "The Walking Dead" and CW’s "iZombie." Movie night with Prime Video gives viewers some fantastic options such as "Jurassic World" and "Testament of Youth," featuring "Game of Thrones" Kit Harrington.

Career and technical programs frequently offer both academic and career-oriented courses, and many provide students with the opportunity to gain work experience through internships, job shadowing, on-the-job training, and industry-certification opportunities. For starters, salaries for trade school graduates aren’t that much of a drop-off compared to a four-year degree. According to the National Center for Educational Statistics, technical and trade school jobs have a median annual salary of $35,720, though this figure varies heavily based on the particular industry and the experience level of the worker. The BLS predicted earnings for bachelor’s degree holders to be roughly $46,900, amounting to an annual difference of $11,180. This stat, of course, doesn’t factor in long term earnings growth.

However, because trade school only takes an average of two years to complete versus four, that amounts to an additional two years of income for the trade school graduate, or $71,440. Factor in another $70,000 in costs for the many students who take an extra year to graduate from college, and trade school grads can be over $140,000 ahead at the get-go, making up for over 12 years of difference in income
